Below you can find a welcome email example I created for a travel site using one of the templates. Off Grid Adventures is an online booking company targeting millennials who are looking to have an authentic local experience in destinations around the world. I decided to start right at the beginning of a company's email experience—the welcome email! (That is, after the email confirmation message.)
This email will serve as a soft introduction to the adventure community the subscriber is joining. My purpose is to a) make subscribers feel welcome and b) encourage prospects to continue to engage with the brand by taking a look at the adventure gallery.
To make this template work for my use case, I added the logo for the company, edited in a vibrant photo (paying special attention to the purpose of the message and the style of Off-Grid Adventures), wrote some concise copy, and created an appropriate CTA. And before I knew it, this template was ready for takeoff.
